Share the events you believe in, and earn on every ticket you sell

Anyone with an account can take a referral link for a participating event. When someone buys through it, you earn the commission the organizer set — and the buyer pays exactly what they would have paid anyway.

How it works

There is no application to fill in and no approval to wait for. Enrollment is open: if an organizer has opted an event into referrals, every signed-in user can take a link for it.

  1. Create an account, or sign in to the one you already have.
  2. Open an event that is offering referrals and press "Get your affiliate link". You get a short code of your own for that event.
  3. Share the link anywhere you like — a group chat, a newsletter, your own audience.
  4. Every ticket bought through it earns you the event's commission, tracked on your affiliate dashboard.

A link is per event, not per platform: you take one for each event you want to promote, and you can pause or resume any of them at any time.

What you earn

The commission rate is set by the organizer, per event, and it is shown on the event page before you take a link — so you always know the rate before you promote anything. The platform caps it at 50%.

Commission is calculated on the ticket subtotal after any discount, and it comes out of the organizer's proceeds. It is never added to the buyer's bill: someone arriving through your link pays the same price as someone arriving directly.

Different events can be priced in different currencies, so your balance is tracked per currency rather than converted into one.

How a sale is credited

When someone opens your link, an encrypted cookie in their browser records that your referral applies to that event. It lasts 30 days, and it is refreshed each time they come back through a link.

  • Last click wins. If the buyer later arrives through someone else's link for the same event, that referral replaces yours.
  • Referrals for different events are held separately, so promoting several events at once never costs you attribution on any of them.
  • The credit is recorded when the order is created and confirmed when it is paid. Unpaid or abandoned orders earn nothing.
  • If the buyer clears their cookies or buys from a different device or browser, there is nothing left to attribute the sale to.

Getting paid

Commission moves through three states, and your affiliate dashboard shows the balance in each:

  • Pending — earned on a paid order, still inside the refund and chargeback window. It clears 30 days after the order was paid.
  • Payable — cleared and owed to you, waiting for the organizer to settle it.
  • Paid — settled, with the date, method, and reference recorded against it.

If an order is refunded, the commission on it is reversed — including after it has cleared, which can leave a negative entry that the next earnings offset.

You are paid by the organizer whose event you promoted, not by the platform, and each organizer settles their own affiliates on their own schedule. The platform records what is owed and what has been paid; the money itself moves between you and the organizer. Anything you earn is your own income to declare.

Rules of the programme

The programme works because the traffic it brings is real. These are the lines, and crossing one forfeits the commission concerned:

  • No self-referral — buying through your own link earns nothing.
  • No misrepresenting the event, its programme, its speakers, or its prices.
  • No unsolicited bulk messaging, spam, or posting your link where it is not welcome.
  • No bidding on the platform's or the organizer's name in paid search.
  • No implying that you speak for the organizer or for the platform. You are recommending an event, not representing it.

An organizer may set their own additional terms for an event; where they do, those appear alongside the rate on the event page. The full terms are in section 9 of our Terms of Service, and what the referral cookie stores is described in our Privacy Policy.

For organizers

Referrals are opt-in, per event. You choose whether to run them at all, set the commission rate, and can add your own terms for affiliates to follow. Nothing changes for your buyers — the rate comes out of your own proceeds, so your ticket prices stay exactly as you set them.

You see every link taken on your event, what it has driven, and what you owe; you record payouts as you settle them. Turning the programme off stops new links immediately and stops existing ones earning.

No event is issuing referral links at the moment. Organizers switch the programme on per event, so it is worth checking back. Browse events.

You will need an account to take a link. Create one or sign in, then open the event you want to promote.
